Branding & Packaging Design
Studio: Flipside Co | Client: Baby Please Come Home
Role: Packaging Design & Creative Direction
BPCH started with a vision to elevate unnoticed/ overlooked household items into artful and meaningful pieces. It celebrates local artisans and traditional materials and the art of making pieces from those materials. The brand focuses on the value of a slower, intentional lifestyle while still creating a space where functionality meets art and beauty. They are blending traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics.
We were commissioned to communicate this story through their logo, branding and packaging experience design.

A SIMPLE START
We began with a simple idea: to reflect the quiet beauty and purpose behind BPCH’s mission. The brand exists to transform the overlooked into the unforgettable—elevating everyday objects into expressions of craftsmanship, care, and culture. Our logo brings this to life through an emblem of soft, organic forms—shapes that feel hand-touched, timeless, and grounded in tradition.
The logomark embraces imperfection, echoing the artistry of local makers and the textures of natural materials. The typeface, with its modern yet subtly unexpected letterforms, reflects the heart of BPCH—where traditional artistry meets contemporary design complementing the organic symbol to create a visual identity that’s both grounded and elevated.

THE VISUAL IDENTITY
The BPCH color palette draws from the natural world—earthy greens, soft blues, warm clays, and gentle neutrals. Each hue feels intentional and understated, echoing the brand’s focus on craft, tradition, and thoughtful living. Together, these colors create a sense of warmth and calm, striking a balance between grounded heritage and modern elegance. It’s a palette that invites you in, much like the objects and spaces BPCH helps bring to life.

At BPCH, color and illustration work quietly in service of a larger goal: to make the product the hero. Each category is defined by its own nature-inspired hue—earthy green for utility, soft blue for play, warm terracotta for tea and serveware, and gentle blush for home fragrances. This subtle system creates clarity across the range, while reinforcing the brand’s values of calm, craft, and intentional living.
The illustrations are pared back and sculptural, designed not to compete but to complement—highlighting form, material, and function. Together, the color and illustration framework creates a packaging experience that feels thoughtful and elevated, allowing each object to take center stage as a piece of everyday art.

THE PACKAGING
We designed the BPCH packaging to do exactly what the products do: slow things down and draw your attention to what matters. Every element is there with purpose. The layout is clean, the colors are quiet, and the illustrations are minimal—framing each object without competing with it.
Each product category has its own color, making the system intuitive to navigate, while still feeling cohesive and elevated. The sculptural line drawings nod to the form and function of the piece inside, giving just enough detail to spark curiosity, not clutter.

FIRST FIRE '24
A little spark goes a long way. As part of the BPCH experience, we designed matchbooks as playful, collectible freebies—each one with bold patterns, cheeky phrases like “Light it up, baby”, and just the right amount of attitude. They’re small, unexpected, and full of character—just like the best corners of home.
The first set with the first drop was called First Fire.

LIGHT IT UP, BABY
Designed to spark a mood, not just a match. The BPCH incense stick sets pair bold, graphic lines with warm, inviting scents like vanilla & sandalwood.
The playful “Light it up, baby” tagline adds a wink of personality, while the color variations reflect different moods and product families. It’s scent, style, and storytelling—rolled into one striking little box.
